What Is A Wound Center?

Updated: Jan 24

Our wound centers located in Clovis, Fresno, Selma, Visalia, Hanford, and Stockton are specialized medical facilities that are dedicated to the treatment of complex or chronic wounds. We serve patients in Fresno County, Kings County, Madera County Tulare County and San Joaquin County. These centers have a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient's wound care needs.

We provide advanced wound care treatments such as negative pressure wound therapy, specialized dressings, debridement, vascular ultrasound and skin grafting. They also offer education on wound prevention, proper nutrition, and lifestyle changes to help promote healing.

Wound centers are particularly helpful for patients with wounds that have not healed after several weeks or for those who have conditions that may hinder the healing process, such as diabetes, peripheral artery disease, or venous insufficiency. By providing specialized care and support, wound centers can help patients achieve faster and more complete wound healing, which can improve their overall quality of life.
